What communities do you build in?

Kadair Construction is an approved builder in many communities in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, including Rouzan, Materra, Americana, Magnolia Woods, Pointe Marie, Oakland Crossing, and more.

We also build on privately owned lots.

How long does it take to build a custom new construction home?

The duration of a home-building project can vary depending on a number of factors, including the size and complexity of the home, the availability of materials and labor, and weather conditions. A new home can take 6-18 months to complete depending on design, plans, and construction.

What is the process for building a New construction home?

Building a custom home is a collaborative journey that we break down into three primary stages: Design & Planning: The first step is turning your vision into functional construction plans. Whether you already have a set of architectural plans or need our team to assist you in designing your dream home from scratch, we guide you through the process to ensure your layout is both beautiful and buildable.

Budgeting & Estimation: Once the plans are established, we determine the anticipated cost of the project. During this phase, we analyze your specific design, material selections, and personal preferences to provide a detailed estimate.

Contracting & Construction: Once we have finalized the plans and the budget, we move to the final agreement. With the contract executed, we officially break ground and begin the construction of your custom home!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUILD A NEW construction home?

Because every custom home is unique, there is no 'one-size-fits-all' price. The final cost of your project is determined by a variety of factors, including:

  • Project Scope & Size: The total square footage and the complexity of the architectural design.

What is your warranty policy for new homes?

We provide a warranty that includes 1 year of workmanship coverage, 2 years of systems coverage, and 5 years of structural coverage on all new homes we build. However, we strive to serve our clients for the life of the home — often providing ongoing maintenance and support for many years.

DO YOU HAVE ANY PRE-DESIGNED FLOOR PLANS AVAILABLE?

Yes, we have access to a library of plans that can be used as a starting point for your design or can be customized to your liking.
